Deploy. Troubleshoot. Optimize. Exchange.
This hackathon is a collaborative event, not a competition. Developers, DevOps engineers, implementers, the FACIS team and Eclipse XFSC maintainers will work side by side to deploy FACIS solutions using EasystackBuilder and the Orchestration Engine, troubleshoot challenges, optimize deployment processes, and exchange best practices.
A Kubernetes environment is required for the hands-on sessions – either a cloud-based cluster or a local setup on your own machine. You will use this environment to deploy, test, and optimize FACIS throughout the two days. A local Kubernetes setup is perfectly suitable, and we will provide preparation guidance ahead of the event.

The hackathon will take place at the DE-CIX Meeting Center in Frankfurt, at the heart of one of Europe’s leading Internet hubs. It provides an ideal setting for the FACIS community, implementation partners, and open-source contributors to connect, collaborate, and help shape the future of interoperable digital infrastructure.
Make the most of both days
Day 2 builds directly on the work completed on Day 1. Participants are therefore required to attend the full two-day program, as the hands-on sessions and collaborative work span both days.
