Workshop on SLA Governance for Service Providers

Workshop.05.03.25

The workshop will focus on developing mechanisms and structures for multi-provider SLAs, suitable for federated infrastructure and business services. Insights from service providers will be gathered to ensure their perspectives are integrated into the broader SLA Governance Framework developed in the FACIS project. The following topics will be discussed:

  1. Joint SLA Governance for Legal Considerations

In a federated environment where multiple service providers collaborate, complex legal requirements must be managed. The goal is to establish a Governance Framework that addresses these challenges. Discussions will focus on how SLAs can be legally harmonized and effectively structured to enable fair and transparent agreements between all involved parties.

  1. SLA Taxonomies, Operational Dependencies, and Monitoring

In addition to legal considerations, operational implementation will be addressed. The workshop participants will define SLA taxonomies that facilitate clear categorization and structuring of key performance indicators. Operational dependencies between providers will be examined, and strategies for monitoring service provision across multiple partners will be developed. The objective is to ensure transparent and reliable SLA monitoring, benefiting both providers and users.

The expected outcome is a common basis with service providers for uniform and effective management of SLAs that take into account both legal and operational requirements.
